Dear All,
For the current stuff I would say that as long as things work, we should
leave them as they are. The next big version change is another matter, as
the backwards compatibility system will also change. Here we should update
everything at once, and indeed any backwards compatibility from then on
should be two-step - first to the waypoint, and then to newer versions.
