Ah, yes, this is a problem. The printing code just ignores the background
setting because we assume you don't want to completely coat your output
with black ink. But of course if your normal background is black this can
create bad colours for printing. I'll have to talk with Tim about this to
see what we might be able to do. (We could try and re-map the colours.)
