Not quite but I do know a sure-fire date and walnut steam pudding recipe.
You could mix it about a bit to turn it into a loaf, but one still
succulent, though a disaster beyond imagination could ensue.
4 oz butter
4 oz caster sugar
3 eggs, "beaten"
6 oz self-raising flour
3 tbspn milk
3 oz walnuts, "roughly" chopped
6 oz dates, "stoned"
Mix and beat butter, sugar, eggs, flour and milk until smooth. Fold in nuts
and dates
Steam it in a bowl in a boiling pan of water the usual way for 2 hours.
