The Digital Health Group is looking for dedicated and talented people
who want to make a real difference in the quality of life of millions of
people around the world. As a member of the Health Research Innovations
team, you will be working with ethnographers, design researchers,
industrial designers, engineers, and product teams to create effective
and innovative health care intervention technologies for both consumers
and for medical professionals.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be the Human Factors and Usability lead
for new products, prototypes and concepts in the Digital Health group.
This includes designing usability test plans and overseeing their
implementation, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, writing
reports, and making effective presentations to influence the user
experience design and improve the effectiveness of our products and
concepts. Additional responsibilities include understanding and driving
medical regulatory requirements into the products, driving accessibility
issues, and defining effective and efficient processes for user centered
product design.
Qualifications
Candidate should have a PhD degree in human factors or a related field,
plus at least five years experience in providing a range of human
factors services for product design. Must have experience in
quantitative and qualitative analysis, and must have experience in
planning and conducting large scale product field trials to obtain
usability and lifestyle feedback. Must have a demonstrated ability to
work well on multidisciplinary cross-geography teams, very strong
written and verbal skills, a proven track record in leading edge human
factors and usability techniques, and experience in working with outside
companies to influence the usability of their products.
Experience in usability for medical or health related technology is a
plus. The candidate position is located in Leixlip, near Dublin,
Ireland.
