Dear all,
this conference might be of interest to people living close to Sheffield:
www.femconferences.org.uk
www.myspace.com/femconferences
The previous FEM conferences have been highly enjoyable and FEM07 promises to be
just as exciting, more info below.
The organisers have also just had confirmation that representatives from WOZA
(Women Of Zimbabwe Arise) will be travelling to Sheffield to speak. Members of
WOZA have been repeatedly arrested by the Zimbabwe police while taking part in
peaceful demonstrations to protest the worsening economic, social and human
rights situation in the country.
Thanks, Sarah

“I’ve really enjoyed today! There’s been so much to hear about and get involved
with, I wish we could have had longer! I’m really enthused and determined to go
out and look up and learn more about some of the new issues I’ve been
introduced to today. Thank you! X”

“I got loads of info to read and share. I feel more empowered and stronger, less
like a freak for calling myself a feminist J”
