In the US, for toilet cubicles dedicated to meet accessibility codes and
percentages, all doors to toilet cubicles swing out and are 36" wide (900
mm). Most older cubicles have had to be enlarged for public accommodations
spaces. Newly designed cubicles are designed with different dimensions
allowing for a full turnaround space, transfer space and sometimes, if space
allows, even a sink (lavatory).
Hope this helps. Shirley
