But surely the point was to avoid a handful of personalities wielding a
lot of power between themselves?
Maybe the way forward is for branches and groups to encourage e.g.
immediate past committee members to consider standing for Council? That
way the one will still feed into the other. Plus branches and groups
will feed into the policy forum.
