Hi Tim
I work for DWP. We hold records of all IB recipients and I have been
project manager on a number of studies with this group. We are very
interested in any interventions that might help people return to work
and CHD patients make up a reasonably large proportion of our IB client
group so we'd be very interested in your results. It might be good for
us to talk. I'm out of the office for the rest of the day today but will
give you a call tomorrow or early next week.
Thanks
Anna

hello,
My name is Tim Anstiss, a physician, part-time principal lecturer in
behavioural medicine and affiliate member of the BPS. I am currently
undertaking research into the effects of positive psychology
interventions
in cardiac rehab patients, and also people on long-term incapacity
benefit.
I have developed a short training course for health professionals which
blends theory and practice in cognitive behavioural approaches,
motivational interviewing and positive psychology interventions. If you
would like more information about the course, please e-mail me on
