The following email is primarily intended for the MMus Studio composers,
however they are a few places for EMS MPhil/PhD composers. If you are
interested please email me ASAP.

Following up from yesterday here are more details about tomorrow. 2nd year
part-timers would have missed this so please read on.
We have been invited to soundAV ambisonics lab.
Thursday 22nd Feb. at 2pm.
Address:
Brixton Art Space
130 Brixton Hill
For more details see:

I asked about trying things out, and this was the response:
The front-end of our system is logic so any logic session should open ok,
otherwise we can load up any wavs or aiffs, ideally as bounced files so we
can line them up timing -wise. Alternatively we can run up to 8 live inputs
from a laptop or hard drive with live spacialisation info via midi.
The deal is that in return we will help set up the surround sound set-up in
the Great Hall at Goldsmiths for the Future of Sound event on the 1st
March. This will replace the MMus session on that day. It should be very
interesting to learn how they go about dealing with their 64 channel sound
system in that space.
If you haven't book for the Future of Sound, please do so ASAP as there is
only a handful of places left.

Regards
John.
