Hi Jeff,
I'm surprised that the imcalc and reslicing stuff didn't do the trick,
I'm sure it should be possible with them. Anyway, you could try:
http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/gridgway/vbm/resize_img.m
http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/gridgway/vbm/world_bb.m
and something like
resize_img('', nan(1,3), nan(2,3));
then select the images.
I think I got a report from an SPM2 user saying this worked for them.
Best,
Ged.
P.S. In some ways, a better, though more roundabout solution, might be
to read the images in with SPM5, then to write out NIfTI images, and
then to use software that understands NIfTI, like MRIcron
http://www.sph.sc.edu/comd/rorden/mricron/
which would avoid the unnecessary interpolation/resampling step.
But perhaps that's more work than it's worth...
