Hi all,
Another site worth a look is http://www.drugstraining4free.co.uk
This was developed to get more information to Tier 1 (generic)
professionals.

Subject: Hello all
Hello all-its taken me a while to get onto this discussion list but
finally worked out my password, I am not very technically proficient,
despit growing up with PC's etc! Just wanted to say hi this time but I
was hoping to use this discussion list to get check out some of my
idea's
about what social work can contribute to specialist substance misuse
work
with young people (i.e. I think the main area lies in the idea of social
work as working 'with the person in their social context' and not
individualising their difficulties to personality/moral deficit?). I
have
some other ideas as well about this but will post them when I have time
too! I thinks its very important though that this site has been
developed
and hope lots of social workers use it fruitfully to inform thier
practice.
regards
