Both really good ideas and don't sound too difficult to do.
Start with something achievable.
For Kasper and others who haven't been here very long.
You do get to know people after a while... and a lot of
people have web links in their signature if you want more.
One of the things I like about poetryetc is that on the whole we
know each other only by our poems and other words. This can be
a deeper kind of knowing than being introduced in the normal way
and starting with a lot of (perhaps subconscious) assumptions
based on the person's age, the letters after their name, the number
of books they have published, or their looks, dress and voice.
Many years ago I was on 'apollo' list run by Jon C and including
Doug Clark, Ken and some others. We mainly workshopped poems
and didn't talk much about anything else. After a while we shared
our photos (this was before the web) and what amazed me was how
everyone looked exactly like I'd imagined from their poems!
