they're cranes... big, metallic crustaceously lumbering nearly still
cranes...
hummingbirds are only found in the americas, i believe... Beijing's actually
quite lush and beautiful in the summer... and, apparently, after they paint
the tops of houses green, will appear even more so as the Olympics
approach... plenty of birds here, despite efforts to the contrary many years
ago...
