Dear colleague
Happy new year!
In addition to our popular workshops, the Technical Advisory Service for
Images (TASI) offers a free helpdesk service for anyone working within UK
further or higher education.
We answer questions on any issue relating to digital images, from finding
or making them, through to storing and using them - some typical examples
are given below.
You can expect an acknowledgement within a day and a full answer within 5
days. We often answer simple questions on the day received. Where
enquiries are more complicated, we may phone or email you back for more
details.
User feedback shows that more than 99% would recommend this service to
others.
To use the helpdesk, please visit: http://www.tasi.ac.uk/helpdesk.html
With best wishes
Nigel

camera?

the Web?

* Where can I find a good source of free/cheap images?
* I bought an old postcard from a shop - can I put it on my Web site?
* I took a photo for my last employer - can I use it in teaching materials
for my new employer?
* How can I best scan or photograph my fragile books?
* At the highest resolution/bit-depth my archival TIFFs are 480MB - am I
doing something wrong?
