Hi folks
Those of us who are interested in academic and corporate or business
education and the use of new technologies and tools such as on-line
discussion groups. Some of you may be interested in Kelmm (2000)
titled "What is wroung with on-line discussion and how to fix it". Where
eleven problems were identified along with possible remedies. This work
can be accessed via ERIC which is a database that some of you may have
access to depending on your own working context. But it makes for some
interesting reading if one has not read it before. Unfortunately the
quality of text is poor and no reference is made to the methods used but
perhpas these have been published in another paper or perhpas not.

Maureen McBain
