The University of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in
Politics/Social Policy/Science Studies, to work on an EC-funded project
concerned with the different roles of social, scientific, technical and
professional forms of knowledge in the policy process. The Research Fellow
will conduct a case study of mental health policy in Scotland. Candidates
should have completed or be about to complete a PhD in social or public
policy (including health policy), science studies or a related area, and
should have experience of elite interviewing, documentary analysis and
report writing.
The post is available for up to 48 months starting on 1st March 2007.
Salary Scale: £22,111 - £25,633.
