Members of this list may be interested in the new histpop (http://www.histpop.org) website which was launched earlier this week.
The histpop website is a digital library of all census reports published in Britain before 1937 and all of the registrar-general's reports for England and Wales and Scotland published up to 1920. The site also contains copies of a large variety of material from The National Archives relating to both census and registration administration.
This will be an invaluable resource for local historians, bringing together scarce material in an easy to use form.
