A new Study Support Community of Practice for library staff is now available
at http://www.ebase.uce.ac.uk/study-support/index.html
This is designed to support anyone working in school libraries, public
libraries or SLSs who is involved in, or has an interest in Study Support
provision.
It includes summaries of, and links to, key documents and policy statements,
case studies and links to other sources of information, advice and support.
Presentations from the recent Libraries & Study Support conference are now
available at http://www.ebase.uce.ac.uk/events/study-support.html
In addition, I would be interested in hearing from any library staff (school
or public) who have evaluated their study support provision (even if this is
on a small scale). If you would be happy to share the methods used and
results, I am hoping to synthesise evidence from around the country and
share information about the current role of libraries in study support
activities and how effective this is. If you are interested in this work,
please email [log in to unmask]
