Dear Colleagues,
I'm delighted to be able to offer an opportunity to attend a conference that will bring together the school and HE sectors. "A Shared Vision" is the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust's second annual schools/HE conference. There are surprisingly few occasions where the two sectors get to meet face to face in this way so we feel it will be essential for any HE staff genuinely interested in engaging with schools.
There are of course a number of areas where schools and HEIs interface. The conference will be covering some of these key themes including:
*Specialised Diplomas and 14-19 reforms
*Widening Participation
*Student progression
*Student transition and skills
*Partnerhsips for the community
*Gifted and Talented
*The vocational agenda
*Specialist subject-related partnerships
If you are interested in any, or all, of these themes then we would urge you to consider booking ASAP. Places are still available but are going fast.
