To all who responded to my inquiry - many thanks! I have learned that although Cr is
normally thought to be relatively immobile, there are many counterexamples in which at least
some mobility has been demonstrated. Interestingly, many of these are in relatively low-
temperature environments where Cr is mobilized by either very basic or acidic fluid, or by
brine, or under highly oxidizing conditions.
