I am keen to learn of any projects, past or present, which actually TRAIN
"mediators" for negotiation toward access in situations of complex
humanitarian emergencies, particularly relevant to armed conflict.
Indeed, many of the mistakes made one might presume have to do with the
political manipulation of aid distribution-Have conference fora been
organized around this crucial issue? This in and of itself ought to be a
semester long course-Perhaps Oxford could take this up? Its all in the
mediation, yes? I am hoping this posting will generate discussion regarding
resources in this area.
