PhD scholarships for international students
The University of Leeds is pleased to offer up to five fully funded and
also partial Scholarships to successful applicants in the 2007 ORSAS
Competition. Academic fees will be met in full and the Scholarships will
pay a full maintenance award of £12,600 a year (or partial maintenance)
for up to 3 years subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Applicants must:
apply for an ORSAS Award and an International Research Scholarship at the
University of Leeds and hold an excellent degree qualification;
if awarded a full maintenance award (of £12,600 per year) must not hold
another Scholarship which provides a maintenance grant;
must be commencing PhD research degree study for the first time in Session
2007/08;
be eligible to pay fees at the International Fee Rate;
not already hold a doctorate or equivalent qualification.
