Job Summary:
Your potential employer is looking for a Biostatistician who specialises in
early phase trials to work within their Early Drug Development department.
The department primarily focuses on early phase clinical studies in healthy
volunteers in addition to diminutive yet defined patient populations and
later phase clinical pharmacology studies.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will primarily support trials originating from the
Early Drug Development department, focusing on the exploratory phase 0,
I-IIa trials, responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the clinical development plans and study designs
- Provide the statistical contribution to protocols and clinical study
reports.
- Writing analysis plans, programming in SAS
- Providing sound statistical interpretation of the results will also
fall under your remit.
- There will also be the chance for you to look for opportunities to
introduce innovative methodology and optimise statistical input to these
trials

Essential Skills & Capabilities:
* MSc in statistics (or similar) with experience within clinical
trials
* A familiarity in early phase trials.
