Hi,
Standard practice in my OH department is for the person being referred
to meet with HR and their line manager to discuss reasons for referral
and for both the manager and the person being referred to sign the
referral form. Once the form is received by us we book the client in for
OH appointment.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Rita

Does an employee need to consent to see OH??? What is standard practive
in other OH Depts??
Slight difference of opinion with HR in that HR think they can send
whoever they like to OH without telling them why, and all in OH think
the employee should be aware of the reason for the referral and agree to
attend.
No current policy / procedure in place, hence the above discussion
whilst creating one!!!!!
All advice greatfully received
Ellie
