MSDS for chloromethane(other name for methylene chloride) has as much information as you require to
sort of OH response.
Skin, respiratory assessments a necessity. The use of LEV's such as fume cupboards essential and be
mindful of the gloves used in handling this chemical as it does not like natural rubbers and
neoprene composites.
Advice to handlers regarding mutagenicity and teratogenicity, very important in female workers,
particularly during the 1st trimester. Important to ensure pregnancy risk assessments are carried
out, we do not take chances with these chemicals and do not allow our pregnant workers to continue
working with them.
Hope this helps
Cheers
