I also just give the employee a copy of their results and, if appropriate,
advise them to take it to their GP to request a full lipid screen.

yes I see what you're saying here, I do of course get verbal consent from
each individual, and the questionnaire they complete as part of the health
promotion activity is signed by them, but previously any abnormal results
have been sent to their GP in case they wish to investigate further or
commence treatment, which I can't do as I don't prescribe.
I was only trying to aid the member of staff, but on reflection, I will
send a copy just to the individual and advise them that if they wish to
divulge to their GP then that's their decision.
