Accidentally prescribed it in 2cnd trimester in first week of a new job some
years ago. No computer, no knowledge of her being pregnant [ no excuse
-should have asked] - serious panic mode but every authority I spoke to said
how the risk is more theoretical than real, and indeed I'm very pleased to
say the baby was healthy in all respects further down the line. [Sleepless
nights for a while though!]

Is this being used these days? I have always avoided like the plague,
but was asked to prescribe it by a consultant obstetrician last week.
Mind you it was the most benign of the other things on offer. patient
was in her 3rd trimester.
