We are looking for comments in preparation for putting together a draft
field guideline on the procurement, use and logistics of timber in
emergencies:
"A project to produce and disseminate a field handbook that brings
together best practice in the procurement, logistics and use of timber
in humanitarian emergencies is underway.
A 40 page timber-procurement guideline has already been developed for
the Norwegian Refugee Council and is available for download and
comment.
Please see http://www.humanitariantimber.org for details.
Thanks and best wishes,
Jon Fowler
