my understanding - and hope - is that it can be standalone and can
download over the air. If it doesn't then it's not the great step it's
being hailed as. 4 or even 8Gb is not great, it might suit those with
average sized music collections and modest Podcast usage. I have a
fairly modest, often edited library and mine is well over 9gb.
If... it will download over the air, then watch the iTunes being more
like last.fm.
