Yes, since you're not supposed to distribute a JDK the arrangements for
that don't really matter to anyone other than developers. The point is
simply that you can put a JDK directly into /star/java, without any
thought (in fact the obvious way to arrange this is to unpack the JDK into
/star and then put a softlink from that to /star/java).
