Twinkling the Ivories at the Star and Shadow Cinema.
Sunday 17th December 2006, 3pm - 11pm.
Come along and enter the festive season with movies, music and mince pies.
Twinkling the Ivories is a triple-billed day to celebrate festivities, our open cinema and the resident piano. Come along to any or all of the screenings. The bar will be open with merry festive tunes, mince pies, doughnuts and mulled wine to keep you cosy and rosy cheeked.
All day, triple-bill ticket will cost you £6!
Other ticket prices: 1 film - £3.50, 2 films - £5.
All new members to the cinema can sign up to our annual membership for £1.

How to find us:
The Star and Shadow is on the corner of Stepney Bank and Crawhall road, opposite the Tanners pub. The nearest metro is Manors (7min walk). Buses: 12, 21, 22, 39, 40, 62, 63, N12 all drop you right outside. You can lock your bike inside the cinema.
Access:
The bar, cinema and wc are all fully wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, we do not have a hearing loop system.
Tickets/entry:
Tickets for screenings cost £3.50/3 or donation unless stated otherwise.
We are a membership organisation, so you need to join, which costs £1 a year. As a member you will receive regular info about films. We try to keep ticket prices low. Star and Shadow Cinema welcomes UK asylum seekers and offers them free entry.
Volunteering:
Star and Shadow is a volunteer run organisation.
If you would be interested in dipping your toe in the warm pool of running a cinema, whether that be choosing films or helping at the bar, we would very much welcome your help. Email us!
