'Future of Sound' Thursday 25th January at 1pm and 7pm , The Sage Gateshead In a cross between a concert and a lecture/demonstration, Martyn Ware, founder member of both The Human League and Heaven 17, presents an exploration of the outer reaches of sound using specially installed surround sound technology plus visuals. The event presents Luciana Haill's Interactive Brainwave Visual Analyser which registers brain activity to produce a 'concert of the mind' and Paul Devereux's discovery that Neolithic burial grounds resonate at a tranceinducing frequency. Experience an evening that will blow your mind... Fascinating for anyone with adventurous ears - of any age! During the interval the audience can play with interactive audio toys. This production is supported by funding from Arts Council England . Tickets: £7
