"vaguely Ugro-Finnic physical anthropology"!
I looked at the excerpt, & quite liked a lot of it. his voice does sometimes
wax too prosaic, but his subjects are very close to my own, & many of his
observations mildly insightful. it seems to me that his work could benefit
from more imagery, he's good at it but doesn't always use it effectively.
