I'm not getting at you - this is not supposed to be a dialogue :-)
Thomas's suggestion was the Benedictines do (now?) on 29 July - but his
reference is to the Graduale Triplex (Solesmes, 1973) p.873, which I don't
have.
My question was, how far back does that go? And could it have any relevance
to the medieval situation?
