I think we could spend a lot of time talking about how to manage the accessibility of the resources
but given that very few of them will be accessible to everyone, perhaps it would be an opportunity for
us to use the forthcoming ISO standard's model for description of the resources at least so
individuals can see if the resources are accessible to them?
I am referring to the AccessForAll model that has resources described so that users can state their
needs and preferences and have resources discovered that can be matched to them. As the software
for this matching is available as open source, I think we are just talking about what we are calling
application profile modules in the DC world.
We have a draft of how to do this in the DC world, and there is the IMS version that says how to do it
in the LOM world (due to be revised in the very near future), and there is the ISO version.
