What's going on around the world today on the UN International Day of
Disabled People 4th December 06?
It's interesting that this important day in our history does not get the
same media coverage as other important events as like last weeks
'International Aids Day', Why?
These are some of links to all the events in UK I've found out about today:-
There's not a a lot going on. I thought all the UK local authorities and
other public bodies would have done something this year in line with
Disability Equality Duties Act and the UN Disability Convention coming in
force today.
Why don't 'google' ever do anything too? Google usually celebrate certain
'special' days when you go on their main page, but not 'Disability'!! As
anyone ever contacted 'Google' to ask them why?

There are no events here in the East Riding and Hull been arrnged here in
the East Riding of Yorkshire and Kingston Upon Hull localities and within
this email I have sentva copy to senior officers within both Councils and
Health and other public bodies and I want a full explanation?
Don't these public bodies want people to know about the DED and UN Disablity
Convention?
It seems so in my experiences and research.
Yours
Colin Revell
