I have a number of questions/comments about topics related to the
handling and printing of windows within CCPNMR Analysis.
1. I noticed that when you print (save to PDF) a window that contains
horizontal and vertical separators, the layout of the 'panels' in the
PDF is reversed relative to the window itself (top vs bottom and left vs
right).
2. When you clone a window I would expect the 'clone' to be mostly
identical to the original. However, in practice the new window displays
spectra that are 'hidden' in the original, but even tends to contain
spectra that were set to 'absent' for the original window.
3. When printing, is it possible to 'manually' control the region
displayed/printed, rather than try to scroll and zoom using the mouse?
For example, in Sparky one can specify ppm limits for printing specific
regions. I was just wondering if there are some shortcuts to accomplish
this more easily...
4. Is it somehow possible to load spectra *without* displaying them in
any of the pre-existing windows?
Thanks,
Patrick
PS. Regarding some previous posts about PDF font compatibility: I am
also getting messages from Illustrator upon loading the PDFs, although
it does seem to load fine after the automatic font replacement.
('Missing Type 1 fonts have been substituted with the default font.' -
this appears due to my system only having 'Times New Roman' and not the
'Times Roman' specified in the file).
