Is there any chance we can see the original film? These are called
Bohler's parry fractures, and they are an interesting group. The vast
majority (71%) in one study resulted from direct trauma, followed by
traffic collisions (14 per cent), and 6 per cent by falls. They are
never caused by falling on the palm and they are not associated with
wrist or elbow damage like Monteggia or Galeazzi fractures.
