Dear All
Please note this message from Jamie Shiers. All those who think they are
likely to go should register (especially if you want to get on the
experiment visit!) now and I will confirm the funding position within
the next 2 weeks (registering does not require any payment). On this
last point I remind all site administrators that I am collecting "bids"
(i.e. expressions of interest) and that GridPP is planning to fund one
person from each GridPP site plus those in well defined support roles
(such as the Tier-2 coordinators). If you do not express an interest
then "your" place may well go to second requests from other sites - once
the allocations have been made additional requests are unlikely to be
successful.
When you register you will be asked for suggestions for meetings between
people with a common interest (BOFs) and tutorial/overview sessions.
Please think about this and help to make the event better for everyone.
Many thanks,
Jeremy

Subject: Reminder of WLCG Collaboration workshop, Jan 22 - 26 2007 at
CERN
Please register as early as possible, as this helps significantly with
the workshop organisation (setting up the required BOF sessions, panel
sessions and so forth).
Also, the number of places for the experiment visit are limited!
I have added a pointer to the CERN page on nearby hotels in both France
and Switzerland.
