EASTERN REGION TEACHING PUBLIC HEALTH NETWORK CO-ORDINATOR

£33,465 to £38,772 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role from the outset of
the new Eastern Region Teaching Public Health Network. This is a fixed-term
appointment for 2 years funded by the Department of Health. The Network is a
collaboration between several partners including the University of East
Anglia, Anglia Ruskin University, University of Bedfordshire, University of
Cambridge, University of Essex, the University of Hertfordshire, NHS
partners and ALPHA.
The purpose of the Network (hub based at UEA), is to raise awareness of and
access to teaching and training in Public Health across the region working
with Universities, Local Government, NHS Trusts, FE Colleges etc.
This postholder will coordinate and manage the Network, and assist the
Network Lead in ensuring that the objectives of the Network are achieved.
You will liaise with the lead partners from other institutes and relevant
public health stakeholders across the Region, organise teaching events, and
develop a website for the Network that will provide core information
relating to Public Health teaching and learning in the East of England to
students and practitioners from a wide range of sectors.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent
standard, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in Health or Social
Sciences and knowledge of the public health environment; experience of
teaching/training; good project management and IT skills; and excellent
communication skills.
