Yes, Caleb, Ercildoune is the biggest and the most 'historical' we've gone to.
A while back my wife Marilyn and I opened our own tiny overgrown garden in North
Balwyn three times for a November weekend and got much pleasure from the pleasure
of visitors.
When we sold up to move a few short miles to Doncaster we tried to find a garden-
loving buyer for the old 'Cooee' house and garden with the claim (actually a tree
surgeon's remark): this is a rare surviving garden of the Whitlam era. No luck.
The purchaser is in to clearing and felling.
