In this case, the repository is a replacement for a bespoke database.
I have just put your question to one of their research officers. Most
of the time no processing, identification or classification of the
captured material is undertaken until the staff return to the office,
so the repository is not 'in situ' and deposits take place well after
the capture of the information.
