Hi
Following my posting about the SIMILE timeline tool a couple of people got
in touch to ask whether it has any particular relationship to d-space.
I've just contacted the developer, David Huynh at MIT, and he says
" Timeline is actually platform independent, and this is its strength. The
second last section on this wiki page http://simile.mit.edu/wiki/Timeline
shows how people outside of Simile have been able to use Timeline in their
own systems. We have managed to gather a number of Timeline enthusiasts on
our mailing list just because the tool is open, and free -something that Web
users seem to love these days.
That said, Timeline was originally intended to be used to show DSpace data "
Hope that clears that up, apologies for confusion.
Cheers
Amber
