Applications are invited for the above post from outstanding candidates undertaking research in the field of economic geography. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong record of research and publication appropriate to the School of Geography's New Economic Geographies Research theme (for further details see: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/geography/research/).
The School of Geography at the University of Nottingham is one of the largest centres of geographical research and teaching in the UK. The School has 34 academic staff, was graded 5 in the 2001 RAE and 'excellent' in the last Teaching Quality Audit. As part of its continuing strategy to enhance research and teaching, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to contribute to the School's research profile in economic geography.
Salary, depending on qualifications and experience, will be within the range:
- Lecturer scale: £28,849 - £38,772 per annum (salary can progress to £44,947 per annum subject to performance).
- Associate Professor scale: £41,113 - £49,116 per annum (salary can progress to £58,631 per annum, subject to performance).
