Dear list-members,
This is my first post to this list, and I came to know it through the
economic geography research group website while I was looking for some
information on the economic geography of the UK.
Would there be anyone kind enough to suggest any book on this subject. I
realize there are quite a few, but as I have recently read David
Redfern's _Human Geography: Change in the UK in the last 30 Years_
(Hodder and Stoughton, 2001) I have decided to reorganise my courses on
what we call 'Civilisation Britannique' here in France and sort of try
to focus on Knowledge Driven Economy, CLuster economy and the regional
aspects of the UK economy.
I am not a specialist in geography or in economy, and my students have
not to specialize in these fields either, but my main objective is to
clarify things as much as I can and to give information which is
trustful enough to enable them to grasp the main drives and perspectives
of the economy of the UK today.
Thank you very much,
J.P. Rosaye
