We would like to draw your attention to some events coming up in 2007
which welcome contributions related to corpora and literature. Following
on from the successful workshop at CL2005, we propose to organise a
colloquium for the Corpus Linguistics 2007 conference, and welcome
contributions from interested participants.
** Colloquium at CL2007: Corpus approaches to the language of literature **
Birmingham
27-30 July 2007
http://www.corpus.bham.ac.uk/conference2007/
This will be a themed session in the main program of the conference on
corpus approaches to the language of literature. To make this proposal,
I need to submit the full program of the colloquium to the conference
organisers by December 15th. I would therefore like to ask you to submit
to me abstracts by December 8th. I'll let you all know by December 12th
which ones will go into the colloquium proposal, on the basis of which
ones fit together the best to make a coherent colloquium. Any not
selected may be submitted directly to the main conference call.
Please send abstracts to [log in to unmask] by December 8th 2007. Sorry
about the short notice for this. If you can send us a draft abstract by
the 8th December, you can get another opportunity to refine the text
before the 15th.
** ICAME **
Stratford-upon-Avon
23-27 May, 2007
http://rdues.uce.ac.uk/icame/
