Three Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

Salary: £24,161-31,525 pa
Limit of Tenure: Fixed Term Funding, no renewal. Limit of tenure: 4 years.
The Cambridge Victorian Studies Group of Cambridge University, in
association with the Leverhulme Trust, intends to appoint three Research
Fellows for four years from October 2007 to work on its project:
"Past vs. Present: Abandoning the Past in an Age of Progress".
Those working on any aspect of British culture 1789-1914, including but
not limited to the History of Science, History, Theology, Classical
Tradition, Egyptology, Literature, Cultural Studies, Anthropology, Music,
Archaeology, Art, Museology, are invited to apply.
Candidates may be at any stage in their academic career but must have
completed a PhD before October 2007. Applicants working in the fields of
visual culture, the classical tradition, archaeology or museology will be
particularly welcome.
