Seems like your XML files are out of sync.
This error and your question about project name hints that the project may
be a copy of another and that the XML files that are being used (their
locations are specified in project URLs) are actually in the original
project folder, not the new copy.
Thus you have probably have two projects which are trying to use the same
set of XML files.
This may be a bug in Analysis, but could also be that the XML files have
simply been copied in the OS without changing the URLs inside them. -
Using "Save As" in Analysis is the recommended way of copying a file.
The salvation in this situation comes from the fact that the copies of the
XML files in the copied project have probably never been touched since
'branch' time.
If the original has changed but not the copy then only the URLs of the
copy need changed.
If the copy has been changed and the original not, then the
XML files need to be swapped between the two project directories, as well
as the URL changes.
If both the original and copy have been changed significantly then we have
to pray. We can try both of the above methods (after backing up), but
hacking the XML for resurrection may be required.
If you do not feel confident to edit the file locations in the copied
project.xml file and swap XML files, if required, send me both projects
(tar.gz) and I will try to fix here.
If I have gotten things wrong, and you don't have a copied project, send
me the project in any case...
As for changing a project's name, you have to change the name="" field in
the <Project> line near the top of the project.xml file. In the future
version of the data model, it may be possible to edit project names inside
of Analysis.
