Doug,
An act? I'm sure, although it wasn't me acting. The man holding the gun
was my mother's boyfriend. He was a plumber that used to dress up as a
cowboy at the weekends (circa 1980). He regularly pointed his gun at me
(pun fully intended) and once fired the thing in the confines of a very
small, council house kitchen.
It only fired blanks though.
But then we all knew that.
All's well that ends well.
I *was* a difficult child.
