Hi,
I know few sites in the UK have upgraded to a more recent version of pbs
to overcome scalability problems. Here is the patched version of a
higher version of torque.
cheers

Timeline is 0 minutes.
http://www.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Torque_and_Maui
has details of an sl3 and sl4 build of torque 2.1.5
http://hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~traylens/rpms/torque/2.1.5-1cri_sl3_1st/
http://hepunx.rl.ac.uk/~traylens/rpms/torque/2.1.5-1cri_sl4_1st/
The savannah patch has also been updated
https://savannah.cern.ch/patch/?func=detailitem&item_id=832
Please note that these newer 2.1.5 torque packages are an add on
outside
the official gLite release that contains 1.0.X version. Consequently
there
are some package conflicts if you are using the lcg-CE_torque or
glite-CE_torque
metapackages. This will not be resolved until the above savannah
patch is integrated
into the official gLite release.
